Susan's Blog - New York City Thanksgiving 2015
For Thanksgiving this year, we spent the time with Tom's family (well, his dad and sister) in New Jersey. We took the opportunity to spend a few days in New York City before the holiday. While it isn't as good as spending the time before Christmas there (they hadn't actually decorated/lit the tree in Rockefeller Center), there were still some amount of holiday decorations around the city. We flew into LaGuardia and took a city bus to the subway and then that over to our hotel. Luckily, we were able to check-in early and get into our room. We stayed at the Doubletree Metropolitan hotel, which was (literally) next to the subway station at 51st Street. |
